🥎 🔥 ** SAVE THE DATE ** National Girls and Women in Sports Day ** 🔥 🥎

The Wildfire has a third partnership arranged with a local school to celebrate this important event, to serve as role models, to share the importance of Title IX and its continuing impacts, to engage in activities & play, etc.❣️

Please join us at Coal Creek Canyon K-8 School on the morning of Feb. 21 if at all possible❣️ (They’re beginning their racket & paddle sports unit, so bring along your pickleball paddle if possible❣️) 🏓🏸🎾

We will also be visiting several classrooms to discuss Title IX and related topics, and to encourage students to participate in the WRITING CONTEST we are co-sponsoring with the school’s alumni group, CCC CANOE (Coal Creek Canyon Community and Alumni Supporting Our Eagles).

[ We’ll be carpooling from Golden and west Arvada, and perhaps having lunch at the Wondervu Cafe 🌮, so stay tuned! ]
