National Women & Girls in Sports Day is a vibrant movement celebrate annually that honors the achievements of women athletes, coaches and leaders, and the power of sports to unlock their limitless potential.

Wildfire member Dawn Pride is again organizing some activities in celebration of Title IX at her school (Lasley Elementary in Lakewood). Please RSVP by Wednesday Feb. 18 at Co.WildfireSoftball@gmail.com

Additionally, we will be working with a teacher at Jefferson Academy Coal Creek who has students interested in participating in a writing contest focused on female trailblazers and women in athletics (theme: Recognizing the power of sports to build strength, leadership, and potential in girls and women.) Please contact Ruth if you are interested in helping look over their writings and/or visiting the school.
