This practice is on the turf field at the School of Mines in order to get us ready for Nationals, which is also on turf. Today’s practice is for the 50s and 60s.
Parking is PAID Mon-Fri and FREE on Sat-Sun
To get to the Mines SB field:
- drive to Washington St in Golden
- turn west on 11th St. (towards the M on Lookout Mtn)
- drive to the end of 11th St. to get to Lot K
- pay at the pay station or via pay-by-cell. (See additional instructions below.)
- walk to the field — see blue dash line on map below.People with team equipment, drive to the west end of 12th St. and follow the fire lane to the field. Pay via pay-by-cell. (See additional instructions below.) (There will be limited parking right next to the field because of construction trucks and equipment.)
The Mines Softball Field (Joe Coors Jr Softball Field) is accessible via Parking Lot K. The entrance to Lot K is at the intersection of 11th St & Maple St in Golden (west of Washington St). Lot K is a Yellow/commuter lot and costs $1.50/hr or $8.00/day.You can pay at the pay station at the entrance to the main part of the lot (after the long drive way) or use pay-by-cell.
Pay-by-Cell (Lot K = Zone 1570)Mines offers ParkMobile as a pay-by-cell option for all visitors. Go to app.parkmobile.io/zone/start (Lot K is Zone 1570) or download the ParkMobile application on your mobile phone. You will be prompted to create an account and add your vehicle information. Then you will need to enter the four digit zone number for the lot you parked in. The zone numbers are located on the yellow and black ParkMobile signs in each lot. At any time, if your visit is unexpectedly extended, you can extend the amount of time needed to continue parking in the lot. For assistance, please contact the Parking Department at (303) 273-3100.
Pay Stations
The Lot K pay station is at the entrance to the main part of the parking lot. The pay station accepts cards and cash (no pennies, does not give change). Report pay station errors to the Parking Department at (303) 273-3100. Campus parking maps are available at all of the pay stations to help guide you around campus.
