Wildfire Minstrels Performance

The Wildfire Minstrels are a group of softball players who also like to make music! On March 14th they will be entertaining residents of Kipling Meadows Senior Living, a retirement community in Arvada. In honor of St Patrick’s Day, there will be several Irish tunes such as Danny Boy, Molly Malone, and Whiskey In the Jar. In addition they'll play songs from around the world: Jamaica, Australia, Austria, and Britain!

The Minstrels perform 2 or 3 times a year at various senior communities and always end with Dale Evans' oldie-but-goody  "Happy Trails". Our Minstrels are Jeri Sampson and Glenda Sinks on ukulele, Vickie Hughes, Ruth Rogers, Betsy Oudenhoven and Sam Phillips on guitar, Karen Kellen (former WF player) on bass, and Dina Powell (Karen's wife) on baritone ukulele, Marianne Amberg on percussion. All our Minstrels also sing!
